The Challenge
Comfort Care needed a better system for ordering office supplies and other crucial items for the homes such as personal hygiene products and cleaning equipment – this was becoming a timely and expensive process with so many new homes opening, multiple suppliers, different pricing structures and very little visibility and control on spend. The authorisation process for orders was also very time consuming using emails and excel sheets which proved more difficult as the operation expanded.
The Solution
Advanced UK recommended and installed their very own web-based ordering solution which could be rolled out across an unlimited amount of locations across the UK. This enabled Managers of the homes to log in and place ‘pending orders’ for everything from office stationery to secure storage cabinets for medical supplies. Orders went direct to HQ for authorisation and with 1 click could be processed for next day Free Delivery. The whole solution was set up and configured in line with Comfort Care’s requirements providing the most modern easy-to-use features. It also provided comprehensive management reporting and analysis to identify spikes in spending by product, location and ordering habits.The system was designed specifically for a growing organization where new homes could be added within minutes and start ordering supplies.
